The summer is gone, the contribution goes on

Since the hot days of summer are gone, GSOC summer is coming to an end too, but it leaves me with one of the greatest experiences in my life.

First of all, I want to express my appreciation to the amazing GNOME community for accepting me as one of its members and for all what GNOME means. Also, I want to thank to Jasper who helped me with ideas, advice and reviews all summer.

Overall, the project went well and the new avatar picker meets the main objectives set before the project started. More details can be found on the project's page.

Even if the project is over, my future plans are strong related to GNOME. I want to integrate the new avatar picker in other parts like initial setup.
Alos, I was invited by ROSEDU to mentor a first year student in the attempt to get involved in FLOSS world and I will choose something GNOME related to work on together (If you have any ideas on what might be an appropriate project, I would be glad to hear them).
One last thing I want to do is thanking GNOME Fondation for sponsoring my travel to GUADEC. It was an amazing event and I am looking forward to meet you again next year in Strasbourg, I have already started to learn French!
